Volunteering Opportunities

The Tulare City School District requires all volunteers to have a tuberculosis (TB) test, a Mandated reporter course completed, a background check, and be fingerprinted. The best way to help ensure your child is safe at school is to fingerprint all school volunteers, just as we do all employees. If your student attends one of our schools and you plan on volunteering, you must be fingerprinted before you can volunteer (unless you have already been fingerprinted for  TCSD). Costs / Details 

CLEARANCE IS VALID:
∙  For all of your children  
∙  For all schools they attend  
∙  Throughout their school career (preschool → 8th grade)  

COSTS: 
∙  Each volunteer pays $65.00 for the fingerprint clearance  when he/she attends a fingerprinting session  ∙  Checks can be made out to TCSD (cash or  check only)  
∙  Valid Photo ID required (driver's license, passport, etc.)
